Ever look at someone else that’s doing the same thing that you’re doing (business wise) and wonder to yourself how did they get to where they are and how is that you’re still where you are?
No? Just me? Well then work with me a second and pretend that you’re just like me and you’ve wondered to yourself how you can get out of your own way and get growing in your business “like everybody else”…
I admit it… I am working on my addiction to procrastination. Some days, I just want to sit and read a book…especially on a nice breezy, summer day. Or on a nice snowy, winter day… next to the fire.
But that’s not always feasible. To be successful, we simply have to get stuff done… and that won’t happen if we take too many days off to read books. 🙂
How can you tell if your business is performing the way you want to it? Want to know how your business is really doing? Set some goals and then go after them.
Go a step further and create a budget from those goals then periodically check in on your business using this “magic” report…the Budget Versus Actual Income Statement.
We’re a little over one month into the new year.
