✔  Section 2:  Going Back:  importing your transactions into the software (invoices, bank transactions, etc)

✔  Section 5:  Going Forward, Part 2:  Bookkeeping 101 – what do to, when to do, why you need to do it and how to do it all (without spending a ton of time doing it)

How long is the Bookkeeping Bootcamp?
From the beginning call to the wrap-up call, the Bookkeeping Bootcamp is scheduled to be four weeks, officially starting Monday, March 12.
What is the format?
Once you register, you get access to all of the trainings.  

At the beginning of each week, you’ll get an email directing you to what you focus on.  

Towards the end of the week, there will be a scheduled Q&A session (Wednesday or Thursday, depending on the registrants).

And there will be Get Stuff Done (GSD) Days at the end of Weeks 1 and 3. Where we will work through the training and implement them together.

What software will be front & center?
Well, it is none other than Xero Accounting. This is the software that I use exclusively with all of my accounting and VCFO clients.
Why do I prefer/recommend Xero instead of something like QuickBooks Online or Wave Accounting or Freshbooks?
In my opinion, Xero is easier for a non-accountant to learn and therefore easier to use on an ongoing basis. It has a simple user interface which makes things easier to find – when things are easier to find, you can be more efficient doing your bookkeeping work…basically, you can log in, do what you need to do, and logout. And with their growing add-on network, Xero can and will grow with you and your business. (Can you tell I’m a bit of a fangirl when it comes to Xero?)
Is this workshop for US based companies only?
Not necessarily.  All of my clients are US based and that’s who would get the most out of this workshop.  If you’re not US based or outside of the US, shoot me an email with any questions.

I’m Joyce M. Washington. I’m a certified public accountant but I’m not your typical CPA (or so I’ve been told).
